Legal structure and functional organization
Our business is spread across several legal entities, namely:
Diethelm Singapore Pte. Ltd (name will be changed by the end of the year , anm)
Harpers Trading Singapore Pte. Ltd. (name will be changed by end of 2009)
DKSH Technology Pte. Ltd
Desco Luxury (S) Pte. Ltd.
Management responsibility, however, works along a Business Unit structure going across legal entities. Each Business Unit is locally headed by a General Manager who in turn reports to a Global Business Unit Manager. All our support functions, i.e. Finance, Accounting, Human Resources, IT and Administration are centralized.
All Business Unit General Managers, the Country Finance Manager and the Human Resources Manager together form the Country Management Team. While the business is entirely driven by the specialized Business Units, all country-specific matters relating to support processes are dealt with by the country management team.
